Use of cookies

Based on the content of Article 173 of the Act of 16 July 2004 – Telecommunications Law, the administrator informs that the website https://polskiklaster.pl (hereinafter also referred to as the Website) uses cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that can be used by websites to make their use as seamless as possible. Cookies typically contain a unique number, the name of the website they originate from, and the duration of their storage on the end device.

“Own Cookies” and “Third-Party Cookies”

The website uses so-called "own cookies", which are sent to the User's end device from a device or domain managed by the administrator.

The Website may also use so-called "external cookies," which are sent to the User's end device from a device or domain not managed by the Administrator, but by another entity that handles data obtained through cookies, such as social networking sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. The Administrator is solely the operator of the Website and has no access to or control over third-party cookies or the data they collect.

For more information on this subject, we encourage you to read the list of third-party cookies and the purpose of their use as well as their period of operation at the end of the table and in your preference settings.

Cookies as personal data

Since some of the cookies used by the Website may constitute personal data, we inform you about the rights that Users have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR).

For what purposes does the administrator use cookies?

Cookies are used to:

  • administering the Website, including ensuring the proper functioning of the website,
  • functional, analytical and marketing purposes, which allows, among other things, to make it easier for the user to use the Website – to remember their preferences, and to display advertisements within the Website.

If the administrator uses necessary cookies to ensure the basic functionality of the Website, then the data is processed for the legitimate interest of the administrator (Article 6, Section 1, f, GDPR). If the User has given appropriate (voluntary) consent (Article 6, Section 1, a, GDPR), the data will also be processed to provide Users with services, offers, and communications tailored to their preferences, and to analyze website traffic and provide social media features (depending on the preferences selected).

Dear User, remember that you can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Manage consent" in the lower left corner of the page. You provide your consent voluntarily. You can withdraw it at any time by resetting your browser's cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing.

How long will the administrator use cookies?

The Website uses two basic types of cookies: "session cookies" and "persistent cookies." "Session" cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until logging out, leaving the Website, or disabling the software (web browser). "Persistent" cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.

Your rights

The Administrator points out that when processing User data collected via cookies, the Administrator is, in most cases, unable to identify the User. Therefore, if Website Users would like to exercise their rights, they may be asked to provide additional information for identification purposes.

Full information about the rights of Customers/Users can be found in the Website's privacy policy.

How to manage cookies?

By using the Website without changing your cookie settings, you accept cookies. The cookie configuration panel available on the Website contains information about the cookies used by the Website, along with information about the purpose, duration, and management of each cookie, so that the User can manage the activation and deactivation of cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the Website. Alternatively, the User can disable cookies in their web browser. Below, we show how to do this. The method for blocking/deleting cookies will vary depending on the web browser used. Information on how to delete cookies can be found using the "Help" tab in the selected web browser.

For example, in Internet Explorer, cookies can be modified from: Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy; in Mozilla Firefox: Tools -> Options -> Privacy; and in Google Chrome: Settings -> Show advanced settings -> Privacy -> Content settings -> Cookies.

Disabling/deleting cookies

Dear User, please note that the Website may not function properly if all cookies are disabled. If you delete cookies in your browser, they will be re-installed after you consent when you visit the Website again.

List of cookies used

The Administrator provides information about the types of cookies used on the Website, including the purpose of using cookies, as well as the cookie lifespan and the cookie provider. The list of cookies used is available in the "Manage Consent" panel at the bottom of the website.

Full information on the processing of personal data, including the contact details of the administrator, the personal data protection officer, and information on your rights, can be found under the privacy policy link.
